Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Services

Website SRQ provides web design, web development, and related services. The details of each project are outlined in a separate proposal or agreement before work begins. If the scope changes, those changes need to be agreed to in writing.

2. Payment

Payment terms are listed in the project proposal. A deposit is usually required before work starts, with the remaining balance due when the agreed work is delivered.

If payment is late, work may be paused until the balance is paid. Refunds are not provided for work that has already been completed.

3. Client Responsibilities

To keep the project moving, clients agree to:

  • Provide content, files, and feedback in a reasonable timeframe
  • Respond to questions and approvals needed to complete the work
  • Make sure any text, images, logos, or other materials provided are owned or properly licensed

4. Intellectual Property

Once final payment is received, the client owns the final website design and code created for the project. Website SRQ may still show the finished work in its portfolio unless the client asks otherwise in writing.

Third party assets, plugins, fonts, or frameworks used in the project are still subject to their own licenses.

5. Revisions

Each project includes the number of revision rounds listed in the proposal. Extra revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

6. Timelines

Project timelines depend on both sides. Delays in feedback, missing content, or scope changes can push the delivery date. If that happens, the updated timeline will be communicated as soon as possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Website SRQ is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages related to the use of a completed website, including things like lost revenue, lost data, or lost business opportunities. Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.

8. Termination

Either side can end the project with written notice. If the client ends the project, payment is still required for work completed up to that point. If Website SRQ ends the project, any payment for undelivered work will be refunded.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal disputes will be handled in Sarasota County, Florida.
